But soft! What light through yonder window breaks? It is the East and Juliet is the sun! Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon, who is already sick and pale with grief that thou her maid art far more fair than she. – William Shakespeare
Still on the topic of LOVE this week!
Nothing quite symbolizes the fire of young romantic love like Shakespeares Romeo and Juliet – this is a door to a home in Verona that someone years ago whispered was the actual Capulet residence It took just a rumor to turn this wall and courtyard into a mecca for lovers from all around the world to proclaim their undying passion in grafitti and hand written notes pleading for advice on how to win their hearts desire.
Hollywood even bought into that rumor with the movie, Letters to Juliet , a film thats not quite as memorable as the sentiment (even though I cried)
I wonder if the grafitti and the notes have endured longer than the Love?
Parting is such sweet sorrow
That I shall say goodnight til it be morrow.
Yours with love, SK
